Greetings Friends!
Each and every year we dream up a unique way of saying “Happy Holidays” and letting you know that we appreciate your business and the relationship we’ve developed with you.
This year we decided to use the budget that we normally set aside for client and associate gifts in a special way. The charity we have chosen this year is the My Stuff® Bags Foundation. We will be buying hundreds of blankets, stuffed animals and toiletry items to fill holiday bags for less fortunate children.
I hope that you agree that our decision was the right one. I know that there will be 42 happy kids that think so. We wish all of you and yours a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season and a successful New Year. We hope that we can continue to be a part of your lives.
Warmest Regards,
Matt

The My Stuff® Bags Foundation provides wonderful duffels filled with new belongings for children rescued from abuse, abandonment, neglect or displaced due to natural disasters. These children often enter crisis care with absolutely nothing of their own! Thousands of people donate new items for the bags and the funds to ship them to children in shelters all across America.

My Stuff Bags, filled with toys, toiletries, a stuffed animal and most importantly, a soft new blanket, carry the message to these children that lots of people care about them. Please help us show them we do! Visit the My Stuff® Bags Foundation website at www.mystuffbags.org.

Spotlight : Clint Whitman
I have been building homes and working in construction almost full time for nearly 30 years. At an early age I started doing jobs with various contractors - including my father who was involved in the industry. We would chalk out the footings, dig them, install plumbing, rough hang the forms, pour the mud, framing, all finishes and go to the next spec home.
I started doing high-end residential remodeling and new home construction about 13 years ago. It wasn’t long before I moved into a management position. I started working with Plaskoff Construction 2 years ago as a Senior Estimator, the position I hold today.
Growing up in the field has helped me learn most sides of the business. I can install and finish any aspect of construction with my own hands, from digging footings to installing automated electronic lighting, and everything in-between. At this time, and for the past 6 years, I have been a project estimator. What I am best at is preliminary estimates (providing a comprehensive estimate based on schematic drawings). This estimate is what many people base their decision on, whether or not to proceed with the project prior to spending large amounts of money on plans, design and development. I am historically within 5% to 10% of the completed project, depending on the scope.
I love to change people's lives through their living environment. Having your dream home greet you after the day is done has a very satisfying effect on all of us. Building a house is a tremendous team effort and seeing it all come to pass from beginning to end is truly awesome.
