PROJECT MANAGER

REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking results-oriented, creative thinking, diplomatic, problem solvers with a sense of urgency and balanced judgement who have exceptional listening skills and communicate well with clients. You must be a quick thinker, able to work with people and must have a minimum of five years of management experience in remodeling. Computer skills are a must.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PROJECT MANAGER

Overview: A project manager is in charge of supervising all phases of actual construction as it takes place, to ensure the work is performed correctly, cost effectively, in proper sequence, expeditiously and in the highest level of quality. He/she is to interface with the client, architects, designers, city officials, consultants, structural engineers, subcontractors and material suppliers providing and/or obtaining all pertinent information as required to strive for a harmonious and profitable experience for all involved. The employee is expected to participate fully in the development of the operating system of the organization, to contribute continuously to the innovation required to move the organization into a world-class state, to aid the organization in performing always at the "top of its class."

Other related duties will include scheduling, bidding, correspondence, documentation, customer relations, change order implementation, management and quality control.
MAINTENANCE AND DEMOLITION SUPERVISOR

Overview: The Maintenance and Demolition Supervisor shall be responsible for the coordination of demolition projects as well as trash hauling and general clean-up of the company's construction sites, overseeing demolition and clean-up personnel and implementing the needs of the VP in Charge of Production, the Project Managers and the Site Supervisors with regard to job cleanliness, trash hauling and general demolition. In addition, the calls for minor maintenance and pick-up work to be performed as part of this job description. The Maintenance and Demolition Supervisor will be required to perform physical work as part of this position.

A clean site, profitable demolition projects, quick job close out, pick-up completion and increased customer satisfaction is the goal of this position.

In addition, this employee may be required to complete small projects or assist in managing small projects. The employee is expected to participate fully in the development of the operating system of the organization, to contribute continuously to the innovation required to move the organization into a world-class state, to aid the organization in performing always at the "top of its class."

Other related duties will include and are not limited to labor and material take-offs, coordination of blueprint distribution to bidding suppliers and subcontractors, creation of spreadsheets, review of proposals from suppliers and subcontractors, site visits and photographic documentation. Some customer service work and management of small projects may be required.
ESTIMATOR

We are looking for dedicated professional men and women who are results oriented, with a sense of urgency but can still see the big picture. They must be attentive to details, systems oriented, accurate, must have good communication skills, must be able to work alone and with people. They must be able to manage multiple projects and demands on their time.

Experience is required (a minimum of five years of project management, estimating, sales or related work). Work in residential construction would be very helpful. Computer skills such as Windows 95, Word, ACT, Microsoft Projects, Excel and Internet/Email will be necessary and prospective employees must be willing to use or learn the skills. Organizational and creative problem solving skills are a must.

We are looking for long term relationships with people who are interested in being a part of and helping to grow our quality organization. Compensation will be determined by the results that the employee can produce.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have prior success calling on homeowners, in a highly competitive market, where your service and/or product was often times the most expensive. You must have a working knowledge of whole house remodeling, strong closing skills and be willing to prospect. You should have good phone skills, exceptional listening skills and above average problem solving ability. Design and estimating skills would be very helpful. All these requirements are not necessary but would really help you reach your goals.
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

We are looking for dedicated professional men and women who are results oriented, with a sense of urgency, but who can still see the big picture. They must be interested in building quality projects with quality people for quality people. They must have good communication skills, must be good with and enjoy working with people. They must be able to perform basic skills in many trades including electrical, carpentry (rough and finish), plumbing, painting, drywall, tile etc. and prospective employees must be willing to use or learn the skills. Some management of laborers may be required. Organizational and creative problem solving skills are a must.

BATH INSTALLER

We are looking for a Candidate that is results-oriented, creative thinker, diplomatic, problem solver with a sense of urgency. We have a great opportunity for contractors that are tired of chasing payments and dealing with poor employees or an employee that wants opportunity at a growing organization.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in demolition, plumbing, tile, carpentry, painting, and flooring trades, and a hands-on knowledge of speed oriented quality construction techniques. Must be able to stay on a tight schedule, and ensure completion by deadline.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Completely demolish and renovate a bathroom in no more than 6 days. This includes all finish, trim, flooring, tile, and plumbing and other misc trades. Ascertain and identify any relevant obstacles and determine impact, if any, to scheduling. Must continually keep Production Manager up to date with regards to scheduling. Must monitor all supplies on truck (i.e. fittings, screws, floor glues, paint brushes, drop cloths) and request more before running out. Also must track usage, condition, and maintenance of all company tools. Must maintain the truck and tools. You must supervise an apprentice in all trades to assist in construction and without sacrificing the schedule, train apprentice in all trades related to the job when possible. You are responsible for maintaining professional and courteous dress, behavior, work and quality at all times on the jobsite. You must communicate with your direct supervisor on a daily basis, communicating job status and scheduling status. You are responsible for photographing and logging job progress and communicating it to the home office.
