Dear
Matt,
Henry and I are still in a state of delighted shock following
the remodel of our two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We cannot
believe how beautiful the project turned out and how much we
enjoyed the process. You and your staff deserve the credit for
both.
We were particularly pleased with the Plaskoff employees who
worked in our home. Unfailingly polite and pleasant, they were
a pleasure. Mike Cook was especially helpful and went out of
his way to ensure the success of our project. Darryl was also
a particular favorite.
The success of our project is due in large measure to Matt Skinner.
Matt brought organizational skills, a sense of design, an eye
for details, and a calm presence to the job. He has the ability
to help those of us unfamiliar with construction to visualize
the outcome and solidify our choices. In other words, he saved
my life on many decisions! Working with Matt was an enormous
pleasure.
Thank you for the experience precious few homeowners have –
an enjoyable remodel. We are looking forward to Phase II.
Warmest regards,
Gwen Hatten Baker |

Dear
Matt:
It is a pleasure to write this letter of appreciation and recommendation
for Scott McMurray.
Scott has been supervising this construction project at 1805
Palm Avenue, Manhattan Beach for the past five months. During
this time, a second story was added to our existing home (approximately
1300 sq. ft.). His supervision skills on the project were instrumental
in the planning, organizing, coordinating, and implementing
of our plans and ideas during each phase of construction that
were essential for the successful completion of the project.
Scott’s ability to assume responsibility and his conscientious
dedication to the project were exemplary. With time and money
at a premium, he was instrumental in scheduling and coordinating
the numerous construction crews and material deliveries in a
timely manner. His careful attention to details and his highlighting
of potential problems kept the construction process flowing
smoothly throughout the project.
The quality of the project was enhanced by Scott’s enthusiasm,
dedication and overall competence. Because of these attributes,
the project was essentially completed one month ahead of the
scheduled completion date – a feat generally unheard of
these days in the home construction business. Scott’s
excellent rapport with all the carpenters, subcontractors, and
us definitely had an impact on expediting the construction schedule.
On several occasions, Scott worked extra hours in order to see
a problem through to completion, i.e., late deliveries and architectural
blunders.
In the past five months, we have come to know Scott as a highly
motivated individual who was always ready to help us whenever
and wherever he could. We feel extremely fortunate that we were
able to have Scott as our project supervisor, for without his
dedication and conscientiousness, we would not have been able
to complete our project within the scheduled timeframe and within
our budget.
Scott is definitely an asset to your firm, and we feel that
whatever projects he supervises in the future will be very lucky
to have him.

Dear
Matt,
To say that I was satisfied is an understatement. I was astounded
by the outstanding quality of service and workmanship provided;
particularly in light of my previous experience and seemingly
endless horror stories that I had heard from others.
Construction was scheduled to begin September 1, 1991 and to
be completed on or about January 1, 1992. Neal asked to get
to work two weeks early (I had no complaints), and finished
around Christmas. The plan was to enlarge an existing house
by 50% – essentially, he built me a brand new home, keeping
a few original elements.
Just as work began, I was called away on business and remained
out of town for the entire construction period. Everything had
to be done via phone and fax. Neal and I spoke at least once
a day (often more – he seemed to be on the site 24 hours
a day). Not one detail escaped his attention. Any unexpected
cost was brought to my attention immediately and approved or
disapproved by me in writing. As it turned out, the final cost
exceeded the original bid by only 10%; a good portion of which
comprised items I elected to add on myself.
As a result of the smooth flow of communication with Neal, I
had a clear picture of exactly what the finished product would
look like even though I had never seen it. When I arrived at
the house in January, however, the reality far exceeded my expectations.
From the carpentry, to the masonry, to the painting, I was amazed
at the elegance of Neal’s work.
The last major factor in having a home built is follow-through.
Since I moved in, Neal has been constantly available for all
questions, problems, and changes that I have come up with, despite
his busy schedule.
When I was considering hiring Matt Plaskoff Construction to
do the job for me, one man whom I called for a reference told
me that building his house with them had been the greatest experience
of his life. I laughed. I now know what he meant.
Sincerely,
Tony Goldwyn |

Dear
Matt:
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to tell you
how happy we are with our master bath remodel. Quite honestly,
had I known that the experience would be as stress free as it
was, I would not have waited three years to do the remodel;
especially considering it our first construction experience
and not to mention all of the “stories” that one
hears.
It was our fortunate luck-of-the-draw to have Michael Katz as
our Project Manager. Mike’s positive attitude in all areas
and all phases of the construction made the experience worry-free.
Mike’s attention to every detail made my life during the
construction period incredibly easy. I was able to leave the
house without having to worry about any of the details. Nothing
ever slipped through the cracks. The subs were professional
and pleasant as well. I enjoyed working with everyone; the office
personnel included. It is rare these days to come across a group
of people so dedicated to what they do and so pleasant at the
same time. It is quite apparent that your organization is comprised
of a special and unique group of people who enjoy what they
do. I commend you for that.
We are enjoying our lovely bathroom every single day; it is
a true pleasure. As an addition to our house, the bathroom feels
like “an old friend” that has been there all the
time and so beautiful in every way.
A heartfelt thanks to all involved in this creation. I look
forward to a continued relationship with Plaskoff Construction
as we embark on a new project in another area of our home. Your
continued dedication to excellence is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for everything!
Sincerely,
Char Krasnoff |
